Sleep is the best thing that the One Almighty God has made for your mind and body. And there is a long list of reasons for that.
One of them that I just found out is that the glymphatic system, an unique sewage system in the brain, comes into high gear during sleep. As you fall asleep, the sanitization mechanism cleans your brain of beta amyloid, a sticky, deadly substance related to Alzheimer’s disease. You won’t be able to obtain that power cleansing if you don’t get enough sleep.
Simply said, sleep — a regular seven to nine hours each night – is the single most beneficial thing we can do each day to reset our brain and body health, which is why I revere and enjoy sleep (scientifically and personally).
